What file format do you accept?

The best file format to send to us is a high resolution PDF or tiff. We also accept PDF, JPEG, AI, PSD and EPS as well, but TIFF, PDF or JPEG are the most recommended. We always ask to have your photos sent or uploaded at 300 dpi to ensure a high quality print. We will prepare the image for you in terms of cropping and getting them to the right size, so no worries about that. If we see that the image sent by you doesn’t have the proper proportions we will contact you to discuss about it and offer you ideas on how to improve them if needed. There’s always a solution.

Do You Offer Photo Proofs?

Yes, we do! It can be requested on your order, just writes a message while placing your order on your cart, include your email as well. If your order requires a proof, production turnaround time begins after you have approved that proof. If a proof is requested, you will be emailed within 1-3 business days.

Do You Offer Photo Editing?

Yes, but only if you ask us to do it. At Printacolour we respect the artist concept at all times and we respect the colours sent in your photos as well. If you need us to retouch something, give us a call at 519 897-7265. If is something simple, no worries we take care of it at no cost. If it requires more than an hour of work, we’ll charge an extra CAD$35.00 after agreeing with you.

How are you able to print directly over hard materials such as wood, acrylic, alumium, coroplast, PVC, etc...?

We use our state of the art UV flatbed printing equipment, with the latest KN reformulated ink, that can print up to 1200 DPI’s with an amazing finish.

Will my printed photo/artwork look exactly like my photo or design?

We'll try to make it exactly the same as the artwork you sent us, keep in mind that we print directly over different material/substrates that sometimes can make colours look a bit different on each one of them...but not to worry, we will make internal proofs at our costs to get the colours similar to your photo/artwork sent. For instance in the Wood Prints, you have the options of having your print using a white light Gesso and then your photo is printed and also you can go with the clear natural Gesso which won't show any white colour at all and you will have your photo or artwork showing the natural wood clour on the background (light-light Yellow). On both types of background you will be able to see the wood grain, which is an awsome result.

Do you offer custom sized prints?

Yes, the majority of our works are custom sizes, simply use the size Price Calculator on the section that you are viewing from our web page and continue shopping, you'll be able to upload your artwork or we can design them for you, just follow the steps on our webpage.

How long will my order take to complete (turnaround time)?

Turnaround time for an order is usually between 5 - 10 business days after it is placed. If your photo requires any editing, or you request a proof before printing, the turnaround time may increase and the production time will start when you give us the ok of the proof.

Do you offer rush orders?

What payment options do you accept?

We accept paypal, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover. All prices are quoted in CANADIAN DOLLARS. (CAD)

FAQ about Business Cards

What is the turnaround time for business cards?

The turnaround time is our normal 5-10 days production time after you’ve approved your proof.





What is an order minimum on business Cards?

There is a minimum order of 100 Business Cards.

Will the business cards be safe in my wallet?

Though these cards are incredibly durable and even slightly flexible, though like any paper card they can get bent in your wallet if not secured properly. We recommend putting them in a business card holder.

Shipping & Returns

What are your shipping options?

We only ship whiting Canada. All domestic orders can ship via PUROLATOR or CANADA POST, We offer a unique shipping fee for all our shippings of CAD$9.99 and again we can only ship whiting Canada.

Can local customers or the ones near the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge-Guelph area pick up their work directly over at Printacolour facility?

We want to make it easy for our local customers residing near our in house shop that want to pick up their prints by themselves. For this give us a call at 519 897 7265 and we'll go over about your direct pick up. We run a family business on a facility not ready to receive customers, is rather small but fits perfectly our needs as an online shop. Due to the restrictive space of our production facility all packages that you want to pick up by yourself will need to be picked up within 48 hours of completion. Where do you ship orders?

We can only ship whiting Canada.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 100% return Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your order we'll reprint it for free or issue a refund. Please see our return policy.

Return Policy

With our 100% Return Guarantee we want you to know that we care about you! We don't just want customers, we want friends! If you are not happy with your prints or signs we'll either reprint them or issue a full refund*. You can contact us at: sales@printacolour.ca or by phone at 519 897 7265 within 5 days** of receiving your print or sign and we'll take care of you!

** After 5 days, the Guarantee is not applicable and orders cannot be returned or refunded.

• If your print or sign has been damaged during transit, you will need to take a photo of the damaged product and/or damaged packaging and email photos to sales@printacolour.ca From there we will get in touch with you and correct this for you right away.

• Upon contacting us, further details on replacement procedures will be provided. Please save all packing material, as it will be required by the courier to inspect to determine if the package was damaged by them during the shipping.
